    Math Problem-Solving Curriculum

    After carefully reviewing the curriculum of several school boards and global competitions, we have developed a comprehensive CKSTEM Curriculum for our Math-Polving Courses. We are confident that this curriculum will help children not only compete but also excel at the global level.

    Global Math Olympiads

    CKSTEM has partnered with the Olympiad Champion Education Centre to offer Canadian students a series of the world's best math Olympiads.

    • Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad (TIMO)
    • Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad (HKIMO)
    • Greater Bay Area Mathematical Olympiad --- Big Bay Bei (BBB)
    • World International Mathematical Olympiad (WIMO)

    All Canadian students can participate in these contests with us, and we help students prepare for them as well. If you are interested in participating and preparing for these contests, let us know. We will be happy to help you learn, compete, and win.

  • CKSTEM HOSTED CONTESTS

    • MOEMS Contest (for CKSTEM students only): Starting in November 2024, regular classes will hold a monthly contest during the fourth week of each month (during the classes) except for December 2024. We will conduct the contest in the 3rd week of December 2024. The $50 contest fee is waived for CKSTEM students.
    • Bebras Computing Contest (for CKSTEM students only): Sat, 9th Nov 2024. The $20 fee is waived for CKSTEM students.
    • Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad (TIMO) (open to all Canadian students)
      • TIMO Global Heat Round: Sat, 23rd Nov 2024 (40$ contest fee is waived for the CKSTEM students)
      • TIMO Global Final Round: Fri, 21st Feb 2025 (extra fees if qualified, 50$ discount on the contest fees for CKSTEM students)
    • Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Mathematical Olympiad (Big Bay Bei - BBB) (open to all Canadian students)
      • BBB Global Heat Round: Sat, 15th Feb 2025 (40$ contest fee is waived for the CKSTEM students if over 80% of course assignments are completed by 15th Jan 2025)
      • BBB Global Final Round: Fri, 14th Mar 2025 (extra fees if qualified, 50$ discount on the contest fees for CKSTEM students)
    • Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad (HKIMO) (open to all Canadian students)
      • HKIMO Global Heat Round: Sat, 10th May 2025 (40$ contest fee is waived for the CKSTEM students)
      • HKIMO Global Final Round: Fri, 29th Aug 2025 (extra fees if qualified, 50$ discount on the contest fees for CKSTEM students)
    • World International Mathematical Olympiad (WIMO): 3–4 Jan 2026 (Winner of 2 Gold Awards in Global Finals for TIMO/HKIMO/BBB. Entry for the contest is free; however, it requires travel to Taipei.)
    • Canadian National Math League (for CKSTEM students only)
      • CMML Grade 6-8: Sat, 22nd Feb 2025 (The $20 fee is waived for CKSTEM students.)
      • CMML Grade 3-5: Sat, 26th April 2025 (The $20 fee is waived for CKSTEM students.)
      • CMML HS Algebra: Sat, 26th April 2025 (The $20 fee is waived for CKSTEM students.)
    • Canadian Innovation Contests (open to all students worldwide): Mid-April 2025 (Final dates will be published later. 20$ Medal charges for all six contests will be waived for the CKSTEM students.)
      • Canadian Innovation Math Contest (CIMC)
      • Canadian Innovation Computing Contest (CICC)
      • Canadian Innovation Creative Writing Contest (CIWC)
      • Canadian Innovation Debate Contest (CIDC)
