CKSTEM Students Win 15 Medals in Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad (HKIMO)
TORONTO, ON—Competitive Kids STEM (CKSTEM) conducted the Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad (HKIMO) in Canada in August 2024. HKIMO is one of the most prominent math Olympiads, and 15,749 students from grades 1-10 from many countries participated in the heat round of this contest in 2024. The top 2,198 students from the heat round were invited to participate in the global finals.
17 CKSTEM students participated in the finals. These students performed exceptionally well and won 15 medals. Based on the strong performances by Ansh Agarwal (Grade 10 student from Toronto) and Shreenandita Das (Grade 7 student from Vancouver), they are now invited to the World International Mathematical Olympiad (WIMO) held on 4th—5th January 2025 in Taiwan. Both students will get a free entry for WIMO. Congratulations, Ansh and Shreenandita, on their outstanding achievements. Aadhya Patel (Grade 3 student from Barrie) and Reyansh Negi (Grade 5 student from Brampton) also performed exceptionally well and got the top scores. All winners will receive beautiful medals, certificates, and other prizes from the HKIMO organizers. Here is the list of all CKSTEM winners.
